Roses are probably the best-known (and most-beloved) of all flowering plants. Roses can be grown as shrubs or small trees and are suitable for many temperate climates. The most common varieties in the US are the Floribunda, Hybrid Tea, Old Roses, and the English Rose (my favorite!).
