Ranunculus is a large genus consisting of about 400 species of plants, the most common
are the buttercup and the clematis. The ranunculus is typically planted in the spring as an annual
bedding plant in temperate climates. Its variation of colors is unsurpassed and is easily
hybridized. They are among my favorites!
