Camellias are a genus of flowering plants native to eastern and southern Asia. They are
either evergreen shrubs or small trees and are considered among the "royalty" of flowers.
In the US, camellias bloom best during February and March in zones 7-8. Often confused
with roses, botanically they are quite different.
