Calla Lily, the prominent member of the Zantedeschia genus, originated in southern Africa.
In the US, it does well in zones 6-8. A perennial, it has large, elongated, heart-shaped
blooms which taper. The white calla lily is the best known; however, my personal favorite
is the gorgeous yellow calla lily pictured below.
